Anyway, I'm getting my 4850 tomorrow, 2nd hand. It's a 2 month old unit that the owner doesn't want, I got it pretty darn cheap (Okay, not that cheap, but cheap enough). It's a Powercolor HD4850 PCS edition. What PCS means, I don't have a fockin' clue. Keep ya updated when I get home.

I'm currently at COMEX 2009 at Suntec Convention Hall. I've been here for about 2 hours and 45 mins, helping my sis look for some stuff. I'm dead tired, lugging around my laptop, and my neck hurts. It doesn't help that I'm hungry anyway. I've got a fat stack of fliers in my bag, and good luck to her; there's a lot of deals that she has to consider. Bwehehehehe.

I've decided on the graphics card I'm getting. It's a 4850/70, if my budget allows. The 4770 is way too expensive now, even if you could get it. Funny, eh? On a side note, the Lynnfield Core i5/i7 for LGA 1156 have been benched, and the results are surprising. The i5 750 is hot on the heels of the i7 920 for LGA1366. Sweet, though the X58 chipset is still better if you want to run multi-graphics set-up. The P55 chipset, or rather, the Lynnfield CPUs control the PCI-E bandwidth directly. They offer 16 lanes of PCI-E from the CPU to the graphics card. Obviously, in a 2-way SLI or CrossFire X setup they split into 8x/8x. Not suited for optimal graphics performance if you've got 2 bad-ass graphics cards. On the other hand, the X58 chipset has 36 lanes, so 3-way SLI or CrossFire X is possible. But, the P55 chipset is a 2-chip design, rather than X58's 3-chip design. P55 does away with the northbridge and southbridge and replaces them with a Platform Controller Hub. the PCH controls SATA, Audio, LAN, and provides an x4 PCI-E lane for peripherals. It should be cheaper to produce, and reduces the board complexity, but I dunno. You sacrifice quite a fair bit as compared to the X58, but that's just my opinion, anyway.

Yes, it's true, I'm going to upgrade my desktop soon, with all the upgrades I had planned out, except without the 4770. I will instead get either the 4870 or 4850, depending on the situation. If I have the budget, 4870. If not, well, 4850 will suffice. Though I'd miss the added bandwidth. Not that I had it in the first place ^_^

Add in another gig or 2 of RAM, a 2nd or even 3rd HDD and so on. Seeing as all the prices are cheap so far, so yeah.

Oh, and COD4 online not-so-pwnage :D I keep getting pwned, but I get my fair share of kills. M16 sucks ass though. Burst fire POS

1. School

The workload has increased. TREMENDOUSLY. Hell, under a lot of stress right now, but I try to unwind. By listening to music. And imagining Xynder in some super special awesome animation. Yes, I'm actually picking up 3D animation JUST for that :D. Sure, animation is tough, but just imagine how awesome Xynder will look like..../drool

Which brings me to my next point: Furries

2. Furries

It has come to my attention that it has just come to your attention that I am a furry. Yes, I AM a furry. And no, I don't want your opinion on it. Keep your opinion to yourself; let a kid have his fun, eh? Which reminds me: How the HECK do you people find me? I mean, Mr Krado Low of AnthroAsia just sent me a message on FB, telling me about the SG Furry community.

I didn't know such a thing existed, seriously. I thought we had cosplayers, tech geeks, but......a surprisingly active fur community? Wow. Nice to see a community, but, I am SCARED how the heck you can find people like me. Unless you know me or play games with me. In case you don't know, my Steam ID is Lt Xynder Valcien, if you wan't to play some TF2 or L4D. Or any Source Mod. I play COD4 too, and that brings me to my next point:

3. Games

I recently acquired 2nd hand copies of COD4 and BF2. So if you play these games, give me a hoot! Or friendly tap on the shoulder. NOT a knife to the back, though. I don't like those. My name on those games is, well, yes. Xynder. If you see Xynder, give a call :D

I'm thinking of getting a commision done of Xynder if I can cough up the cash. Which I should be able to, if I can get the cash into PAYPAL.

Tired and out of energy, since I haven't eaten ANYTHING in the last 10 hours. Fasting month sucks, but what comes after that is so worth it ^_^
