Set in Africa, Far Cry 2 is the successor to the the best-seller Far Cry. Set in Africa, you have a mission: to kill The Jackal, the bastard that armed the two warring factions, the APR and the UFLL. You soon find yourself working for everyone, against everyone. Those arent your only enemies. There is an enemy which makes its appeareance very suddenly-and when you least expect it. Its called Malaria. For the medicine, you need to work with the Underground, Medicine in exchange for Travel documents. The graphics are amazing with DX10. Every explosion, every particle, is beautifully captured. The particle physics of the DUNIA engine is very detailed, dust flying everywhere. The highly detailed textures give the places in the game their very own nature. Some pics: The Intro page. Where is the Any Key? A good FPS is never complete without HUGE EXPLOSIONS! Thats all for now. Next review- Dawn of The Dragon
Fraps is a video and screen capture utility. Making Machinima is so much easier. With this, Im going to go record and take pics of some FC2 and GTA IV gameplay.

Thinking of doing 1 review every 2 weeks? Voice your thoughts (If you do happen to stumble here) Reviews in the pipeline: In Order Far Cry 2 The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of The Dragon Team Fortress 2 Left 4 Dead (Yes, lameomaster, just wait) Mirror's Edge(when it comes out for PC) (Slick, it might take me a few weeks, gotta wait) More in the works. When do I make these reviews? When I get them. Be patient. The first 3 up there, I have them, so I am doing them as and when homework doesn't bog me down. Left 4 Daed, going to get it soon. Remember, if you want a game reviewed, use the CBox over there on the right.

In GTA IV, the 6th installment of the popular, yet controversial Grand Theft Auto series for the PC. In IV, you follow Niko Bellic, an Easten European who came to Liberty City to follow his cousin, Roman and to acheieve the 'American Dream'. When he arrives, he finds out that Roman's 'mansion' is little more than a small, cramped and dirty apartment. The girls and fast cars are non-existent. However hard he tries to avoid his past, avoid killing anyone, he is quickly dragged into the criminal underworld. IV boasts many new features, such as GPS, ragdoll physics, a phone and many more. The GPS is very handy. A step-up to the waypoint system in earlier games, just place a marker on the map, and the GPS will plan the fastest, legal route. However, that is most likely not the fastest way, as shortcuts abound. The wanted system has also been given a remake. Now, escaping your wanted level is much easier. Just travel out of the search zone, wait a few seconds and *poof*, your Wanted level is gone! Your car can now stall and refuse to start, so, if you have a wanted level, 'You, sir, are SCREWED!'. In all, please, please just get the game. A review is just not enough. I will be posting pictures later, but, if possible, get the game!

Well, surprise, surprise. It went up to 320 before crashing at 325. Making progress.

As you can see now, my core is at my target of 700 MHz, no artifacts, so that equates to a 27% increase in speed. Shaders at 1750MHz, which is, Well, Im not sure how to say that, but phenomenal? Ridiculous? Memory is still the same, I cannot risk that much, since it's a DDR 2 board. These Specs will come in handy for the PC game reviews to come, like GTA IV, Left 4 Dead and such. I am nearing completion of my review, so expect it around Sunday or the coming week. The last thing Im going to do before I turn in for the night is to See how high my CPU can go. Aiming for at least 330, which would equate to roughly 3GHz on load, and 2GHz Idle. Well, I will post more of the results tomorrow.
PC business. 315MHz is stable! That equates to a clackspeed of slightly higher that 2.8GHz. Not a big jump, but were getting there. Im going to test out 320MHz again. Hope is the word. Please no BSOD! PLS PLS PLS! Going to overclock my 9500GS further. 700MHz core clock. Hopefully no artifacts! Managed to do it once.
