Whooo, weekends are here. Now I know how I get through every year of school fast. Sleep more.

Yes just by sleeping, you can speed up your school year, and get to those month long holidays sooner.

Anyway, right now, I'm blasting music at full volume on my laptop, which is pretty loud. The Sound Quality is excellent too, thanks to the Dolby Home Theater speakers. I hope its annoying the hell out of my mom, since she says I can't hear anything when wearing my earphone/headphones. Heh, it sounds better actually, apart from the tinny sound sometimes when the frequencies get too high. I'm reading more webcomics, like Concession, Twokinds, Slightly Damned and such. Note: These comics deal mostly with non-human anthros, so If you don't like that topic, don't read. KTHNXBAI!

Oh, and if you need to reach me at FB, or just add me, search for Xynder Valcien. Yep, I changed the name, so for those of you who haven't added me, don't go looking for my real name. It won't show up.

Okay, I'll try to post regularly here now.

1. Audacity Song modifications

Yeah, so I resumed using Audacity. Excellent program, and I've gotten the gist of modding and editing songs. It works as a good voice recorder, too, with the noice cancelling program it has. No more static when using cheap mics. Also, I'm a fan of changing pitch (Very slightly!), BassBoost and tempo. Songs which I have modified and made it better for my ears are:

River flows in You (Ultra Mix) - No more static-like noise, faster tempo and higher bass.
Afterlife - Deepened it, nothing else. the violin piece at the start and end now sound like a funeral piece XD, which is fitting, considering the name of the song is 'Afterlife' to begin with.
All I ever Wanted - Hightened the pitch. NOW it sounds like a dance song without the ear rape (Just joking. Electronica is ear rape).

Overclocking efforts:
I got back to overclocking my desktop after replacing the PSU. Got 2.790GHz, which I think is limited by the RAM, since the voltage I ran it at was 1.325V, which is enough for 3GHZ. The RAM would have run at 1066MHz, I think, which is overkill for value RAM from Samsung. I have a good CPU cooler (Foxconn put in a Cooler Master inside), so it operates pretty cool. Which I can't say for my OC'ed 9500GS. I got 668MHz/515/17XX on Core/Mem/Shaders without it showing artifacts. Once it went to 671, slight artifacts. 700 was full-of em. Temps were at 70C at 80% fan. Ouch. I'm also going to BSEL mod my Q6600, from 1066MHz to 1333MHz. Ah, the things I'd to to overclock my CPU.....

Its the end for me, but maybe not anyone else. I'm already going to leave after about an hour. Its hard to even walk here, since people are taking photos everywhere, and it doesn't help that the place is so crowded. I'm at BK now, and I already know what I'm going to cosplay next year: TF2 Scout. I'll need a shotgun (My Double-Shot) a pistol (Have yet to get one) and an aluminium bat. BONK! I'll need a full-ear headphones + mic, a baseball hat, shorts and sleeve-less shirt. Preferably all in red (Except the bike shorts, they're black. And maybe I'll make the intel box while I'm at it, and attach it to my sling.

Hey, I'm at Cosfest VIII right now, at D'Marquee. Its actually my first event, and I'm not cosplaying yet. Maybe next year XD.
Right now, I'm outside D'Marquee after following a cosplayer (I got lost) and I will be trying to update on the situation every now and then. I'm already dizzy from the crowded-ness of the hall, and it's very noisy in there. Also, I'll have to avoid Cosplayers on the floor, the photographers and just about everyone there. No pics (Insert sad face here) as I don't have my camera with me, just my webcam.

First impressions: Uhhh, not what I expected.......

I've been busy with schoolwork and projects, so I haven't really been able to post much stuff onto the blog lately. So an update on what I've actually been up to:

-Replica guns and dart guns
-Tech stuff and goings-on
-Games I've been playing
-School crap

Replica guns and dart guns:

I've recently acquired an MP5 replica, viewable on my Facebook account. Its actually pretty realistic, except when you squeeze the trigger. I am SO going to disable that speaker.
It has a removable magazine, a flashlight and a scope. THAT ACTUALLY F*CKING WORKS. I managed to see the road sign from the 6th floor and read it. Excellent. The good thing is that its completely modular. I can mix and match its components with another MP5 from the same series. So technically I could have an MP5 with Extendable stock, tactical scope, flashlight and laser sight XD As for the dart gun, I check my Facebook, still. I've got a video about that gun that pretty much says everything on that gun.

Tech stuff and goings-on:
I went around checking websites, and these are what I found:
EVGA has been selected to be a board partner for Intel's Larrabee architecture. I STILL think thats like a 32-core Pentium CPU, considering that the Larrabee architecture was based on the P54C core of the Pentiums.
Samsung is coming out with a NANO netbook, the NC20. Finally, someone has enough sense to use the Nano over the weak Atom CPU.
I can't OC my G105M. RIVATuner doesn't go THAT far.

Games I've been playing:

Killing Floor. Rocket launchers, Chainsaws and crossbows, not to mention dual Desert Eagles, plus a Generous dose of Zombies and special ones. HOLY SHITE, DOES THAT ZOMBIE HAVE DRILLS FOR ARMS OMGWTFBBQ!

School crap:

What can I say? School is and was always crap. I'll elaborate at the end of the day, after my Engineering class is finished. Ughh......

READ SLIGHTLY DAMNED! AND GET ALL EMO CUZ THE MOST AWESOME CHAR GETS KILLED BEFORE IT REALLY STARTED AGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! R.I.P Sakido.....
